Because our first games are Friday, May 7th, we'd better practice! Meet at Harmon Fields on Bernard and Charlton this Sunday, April 18th, at 12:30 pm. (Come to church first at 11!) The Youth Group will head to Harlan Co, Kentucky. 02/14/10 21:34 (EST) Dec 27: Bluegrass Music / Pastor Evavold Reception There will be special Bluegrass Gospel Music at both the 8:30 and 11:00 services on December 27th. We are also honoring Pastor Chuck Evavold, our visitation pastor, for his important ministry, and wishing him well in his retirement. He will preach at both services, and there will be a reception and cake for him at 9:30 following the first service. 12/18/09 05:23 (EST) Dec 12: Christmas Concert Salem Choir and Jubilee Ringers will perform Christmas favorites in Concert at Salem Lutheran Church Sanctuary at 2:00 pm December 12. Louise, our parish nurse, and the health ministry team have arranged a wonderful line-up of resources that can help us to manage our stress and improve our physical and spiritual well-being - massage therapists, tai chi, and much more. Our contemporary band, Spirit Rising, will be playing at the 11 am service and at the carnival. 08/27/09 08:32 (EST) Sunday September 6 - Maggie Preaches This Sunday (Sep 6), there is one service with Holy Communion at 9 am. Maggie Novak, who has been our Director of Parish Life for 20 years, will be preaching since it is her last Sunday with us. I hope you will come if you can!
