FAITH FORMATION FOR ALL AGES BEGINS ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 – 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Anticipate an exciting journey ahead as we accompany you and your family on your faith exploration! Through a collaborative effort between St. Stephen’s and Salem Lutheran, we are dedicated to offering enriching Faith Formation opportunities for our youth and families. Join us for our general Wednesday night schedule at St. Stephen’s, beginning with a family dinner from 5:30 to 6:00 pm, followed by engaging Large Group learning and singing from 6:00 to 6:20 pm. The evening continues with Small Group learning, including an adult learning opportunity, from 6:25 to 7:00 pm. Your presence adds to the richness of our shared faith experiences! The 3rd Wednesday of each month is Activity Wednesday and these are held at Salem. The activity nights are for all ages! Activities include: game night, blanket making, “Ziploc bags of love” for people struggling through homelessness, Christmas Caroling, and more. We strongly encourage you to make Wednesday Night a family night—1 1/2 hours a week to begin or continue faith building with your family. A church can help to plant the faith seeds, but the faith seeds are nurtured and grown at home—we at Salem and St. Stephen’s want to help you be the strongest family you can be!
Salem hosts a variety of events throughout the year and also partners with programs such as Neighborsinc. and Feed My Starving Children to offer everyone the opportunity to engage in our mission to foster community and reach out to our neighbors, near and far. We also have volunteer opportunities for Sunday services; you could help with serving communion, being an usher, greeting members and visitors and other positions. Training is provided.
